Does anyone have information on the Daniel Smith buried in Ducktown
Cemetary? He could possibly be my g-g-g-grandfather, but I don't
have anyway to support that.

Looking for possible Cherokee connection for Jeremiah PACK b.1794,
said to be son of Smith PACK, SR. or Wood PACK. Jeremiah had one
brother Thomas PACK, and possibly William Shorey PACK. Sources
claiming William Shorey PACK and Elizabeth LOWREY cannot be correct
because the dates are off by a generation.

I am looking for information on my g.g.grandmother, RACHEL FREELAND,
married to JAMES ANDERSON HIGDON.Family Tradition is that she was at
least part Cherokee. I found them in the 1870 Polk Co. census,
married with children. Then again, I found an application for Rachel
and a person I believe to be one of her children on the Guion Miller
Rolls. Rachel's father may have been HOWELL FREELAND (FELAND), mother
ZELPHA (SELPHA) Campbell. Any information to help me out will be
greatly appreciated.
