Nov 24, 2008<\/td>\nCivil War Compiled Service Records – I just found a site where we can look at these records for free until Dec 1.\u00a0 You can’t download them for free, but at least you can read them and search for them yourselves.\u00a0 Go to this link:\u00a0 http:\/\/www.accessgenealogy.com\/civil_war.htm.\u00a0 On this link you’ll see many different databases that are available for free for the next week.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Nov 8, 2008<\/td>\nAnnouncing a new cemetery project!\u00a0 We have already started to analyze each known cemetery in Perry County.\u00a0 For each cemetery we will:<\/p>\n
    \n
  • list all known transcriptions and note any differences;<\/li>\n
  • list transcriptions of each marked tombstone;<\/li>\n
  • upload photographs of each tombstone -= as they are sent to us;<\/li>\n
  • upload photograph of each person buried – as they are sent to us by you;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Burns Cemetery was just completed.\u00a0 Please visit this page to see what a “finished” cemetery page will look like.<\/p>\n

    This is an exciting project and one that I know will be extremely helpful to visitors of this website.\u00a0 If you have photographs of your ancestor or his tombstone, please email them to me.<\/p>\n
