C 1st Ky Cav. U.S.<\/p>\n<p>Jasper Pleasant Zachary was born February 22, 1841, in Fentress County, Tennessee, and died January 24, 1929, in Overton County, Tennessee. He is buried in the Fellowship Cemetery in Overton County. He married June 13, 1869, in Overton County, Tennessee, to Margaret E. Tranbarger, who was born May 14, 1844, in Overton County and died August 11, 1927, in Overton County. She was a housewife and a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church. Her husband, George P. Silvers, preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, Raymond Silvers of Waynesburg; a daughter, Edna Padgett of Waynesburg; four brothers, the Rev. Jerry Zachary of Helenwood, Tenn., the Rev. Cornell Zachary of Albuquerque, N.M., the Rev. Eldred Zachary of Vancouver, Wash. and the Rev. He was the son of the late Herstle (Buck) Gibson and Etta Willoughby Gibson and was also preceded in death by an infant son. Survivors include two daughters, Rhonda Gibson Snider and Mica Gibson; two sisters, Faye Hileman and Joan Key; one brother, Daniel Gibson; four grandchildren; several<br \/>\naunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends. A memorial services was held on Friday, March 15, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral home, with Rev. Geneva Summers<br \/>\nofficiating. WEST-MURLEY FUNERAL HOME was in charge of the arrangements.<br \/>\nnote: DANNY ROBBINS, a close friend of Donny, spoke at the funeral. He played the guitar and sang two songs.<\/p>\n<p>8.
