Click here<\/a>.<\/p>\n Research of William Nash<\/em>: Andrew Swallows came from North Carolina (he was serving in the Revolutionary War). His birthplace was Pennsylvania. He began drawing a Revolutionary War pension in 1831. He died in 1843. Andrew married Catherine Kinder about 1785.<\/p>\n Andrew Swallow’s Pension Application was filed in the September Term, 1832, of Overton County Circuit Court. The document contains a history of his life and military service.<\/p>\n Click here<\/a> to visit the archived page containing Trish Carden’s research and documents pertaining to Andrew Swallow(s).<\/p>\n Overton County News<\/em>, 1932 or 1933<\/p>\n Mrs. Amanda Byers Swallows died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Issac Buckner, at Monterey, on Wednesday, December 28, 1932 at age 87. Her activities and memory up until the day of her death were remarkable. She and her husband were married in 1864 and lived together for 68 years. To this union were born nine children, eight of whom survive. \nAndrew Swallows lived the rest of his live in Overton County. He died in 1843. Members of his family line continue to live in Overton County today.<\/p>\n
