His birthplace was Pennsylvania. After his service in the Revolutionary War, Andrew Swallows moved to Overton County in 1818 or 1819.<br \/>\nAndrew Swallows lived the rest of his live in Overton County. He died in 1843. Her activities and memory up until the day of her death were remarkable. She and her husband were married in 1864 and lived together for 68 years. To this union were born nine children, eight of whom survive.
