Lillydale post office should have been located in Clay County if I am correct. Lillydale was at the confluence of the Wolf and Obey Rivers. This
community was a farming and logging center for the upper river areas. Dale Hollow Lake now covers the site. A floating barrel marks the site of the
old post office just south of Troopers’ Island.
