Elijah served in the 8th KY Cav. Elijah and Polly both have civil war pensions applications. Copies can be seen in notebook of pension applications. Elijah Moles born February 28, 1845, Overton County, Tennessee, and died August 20, 1916, Overton County, Tennessee. Elijah married Mary "Polly" Hammock (born November 18, 1845; died September 13, 1931 in Overton County, Tennessee).
