Rev. James Campbell b. ca 1809 Overton Co. and wife Didama Taylor b. ca 1815 Overton Co. married ca 1835, Overton or Fentress Co. They are on the 1840 and 1850 Overton Co. census with their family. Left in early 1850s and went to Kansas. By 1860 Rev. James Campbell was in Nacogdoches County, TX, with the children. Didama Taylor Campbell (daughter of Isaac Taylor and Agnes Copeland) had apparently passed away by 1860. Rev. James Campbell was a Cumberland Presbyterian minister. He died in 1873, Nacogdoches County, TX.
