Notes
- *(1) Johnson, Samuel Lee – In the 25th Tenn. Vol. Inf., Co.”H”, then transfered to the 8th Tenn. Calvary, Co. “G”, Capt. Gores Company. His first battle was Mill Springs, Kentucky. Also known as Fishing Creek, Ky. battle. Enlisted at Livingston, Tn. Camp Zollicoffer, in 1861. He went from the battle at Mill’s Spring to Alabama, and was transferred to the 8th Tenn. Calvary. He was one of Gen. Nathan Bedford Forrest scouts. He was captured at Parkers Cross Roads, and imprisoned at Camp Douglas, Chicago.
