- *(3) Barney Copeland “Co. D” was wounded @ Chickamauga, recovered only to be captured @ Drewry’s Bluff, sent to Elmira Prison, NY. and died of disease.
- *(9) George W. Butram “Co. D” – enrolled 25 Sept 1861 at Livingston, Overton Co.,TN. Severely wounded 31 Dec 1862 Battle of Murfreesboro. Appointed Sergeant 10 Mar 1863 by order of Capt.Green, Commander of Regt. Killed while carrying colors during Battle of Chicamauga, 19 Sept 1863.
- *(9) Reuben Butram “Co. D” – mustered in at Camp Myers, TN 1 Oct 1861, was on roll dated at Camp Zollicoffer in Overton Co., TN 5 Apr 1864 with comment “Discharged on Certificate Disability”.
- *(9) William Ervin Butram “Co. D” – enrolled by A. B. Hardcastle at Livingston, Overton Co., TN on 1 Aug 1861. Notation on rolls for Sept and Oct 1862 is marked “Absent-Wounded in the battle of Murfreesboro-Sent to Hospitl”. He recovered and was wounded a second time at Murfreesboro in the Battle of Stones River, 31 Dec 1862.Captured by Union forces at Drury’s Bluff, 16 May 1864. Turned over to Assistant Provost Marshall at Fort Monroe,VA the next day, forwarded to Point Lookout, MD, 18 May 1864. Transferred to prison at Elmira,NY, where he died 21 Sep 1864. Buried in Grave #387. Record there lists him as “W.E.Burton ,Corp.25 and 44 Reg’t Tenn” and as “W.E.Benton”
- *(10) Calvin Shelton Hix “Co. D” enlisted on November 10, 1862. The same Regiment that his brother-in-law W. H. Fleming served as Captain. He was wounded in the Battle of Murfreesboro (shot in thigh) December 31, 1862 and sent to a hospital in Rome Ga. before being sent home for a 140 day furlough.
- *(19) My gr-gr-gr-grandfather Ambrose Sullivan “Co. D” was a private who was discharged prior to the regiments encounter at Corinth, Ms.

The ranks given are the highest the individual attained. When no rank is given, the rank of private is assumed.
