Many thanks to “Joyce Caughron Rhodes” <jmrhodes (at) usit.net> and Carol Caughron Mittag who found this cemetery. While recording the Long Cemetery, further South on the same Bluff Road they found another cemetery. Some of the tombstones were too badly worn to be read and too much earth and brush covered some of the graves. This cemetery appeared to have been abandoned, but they did find a few with more current dates. They asked an elderly lady, later, if she knew the name of the cemetery, since her father was buried there, but she said she didn’t think it had a name.<\/p>\n
After researching the death records, “Cunningham Cemetery” is recorded as the burial place on some of the death certificates.<\/p>\n
