OBION.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A village of 200 inhabitants, and a station on the Paducah and Memphis R. R., in the southern part of Obion County, 6 1\/2<\/sup> miles from Troy, the seat of justice, 18 from Dyersburg and 167 from Nashville. It has 2 steam saw mills, and exports lumber, cotton and corn. Mail daily. Thomas Cathey, postmaster.<\/p>\n
