R., in the northeast corner of Obion County, 20 miles from Troy, was settled in 1869, has about 100 inhabitants, and is the location of a saw and grist mill, 3 stores and a female school, with churches of different denominations near by. Corn, wheat, cotton and tobacco are shipped. It has an office of the Southern Express Company and daily mail. John T.
