H. H. Taylor died Jan. 22, 1922 at age 82 years. Leaves wife Mary Taylor, sons, Joe and Rev D.H. Taylor, daughter, Mrs. C.W. Summer. Burial in Liberty Cemetery, Jan 24, 1922.Served two terms as county Trustee from 1900 to 1904, then entered into merchantile busienss.<\/p>\n<p><i>FOUND DEAD IN CAR<\/i><br \/>\nThe body of\u00a0<i>Sam Williams<\/i>\u00a0from Detroit, Mich., was found in a refrigeration car in the North Yards at Oakdale, Jan 7, 1922 by Lawrence McCoy.\u00a0 The car contained a load of potatoes from Green Island, Wisconsin. He has apparently been dead for at least 7 or 8 days. He was a brother to Ed Williams of Carlock, S.D.<\/p>\n<p><i>ROSCOE T. ANDERSON<\/i><br \/>\nBurrville, died Jan. 4, 1922, age 24 years, 5 months and 3 days.\u00a0 Born July 31, 1897.\u00a0 He was stricken with acute appendicitis on Nov. 20th at Oneida and was taken to a hospital at Somerset, Ky., where he underwent an operation.\u00a0 Pneumonia fever and other complications developed.\u00a0 The funeral was held at Burrville on Jan. 6, 1922.<\/p>\n<p><i>\u00a0W. D. CHURCHILL<\/i>,was thrown violently to the ground striking his head against a cross tie crushing his skull.. He received the best treatment possible but died Tuesday Morning.\u00a0 Mr. Churchill came to Morgan County from Michigan about one year ago and lived in Wartburg.\u00a0 He married a Mrs. Overton a few months ago and has been living in Oakdale.\u00a0 He and his wife were running the Eureka Hotel.\u00a0 Mr. Churchill was a nephew of Rev. J.S. Clark of Lancing.<\/p>\n<p><i>ARLOW RYON<\/i>\u00a0died Feb. 12, 1922. The deceased leaves a wife, Mrs. Lillis Ryon, mother, Mrs. J.C. Ryon, two brothers, Abner and Lum, two sisters, Mrs. G.F. Galloway and Miss Jessie Ryon.Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.<\/p>\n<p><i>DEBBIE SMITH<\/i>, died Feb. 11, 1922, age, 39 yrs, 2 mo, 2 dys. She was born at Sunbright, 12\/8\/1881.<br \/>\nDaughter of James &amp; Freely Galloway; husband,m John Smith of North Carolina.Survivors, parents, brothers, Hugh, William, George, Elmer; sisters, Irene Clark, Emma Bowie, Pearl Holloway, Delia Shaffer, Hazon Galloway.<\/p>\n<p><i>MARY REDMON<\/i>, Wartburg, died, March 9, 1922. Widow of John Redmon. Sons, John, James, Dave, Martin and Will; daughters, Kate, Maggie, Lilly and Mary; 43 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren,.\u00a0 Burial in Wartburg Cemetery.<\/p>\n<p><i>GEORGE W. BABCOCK<\/i>, Burrville,\u00a0 age 77 years, 8 months and 22 days, died March 17, 1922.\u00a0 He was born in New York on June 25, 1844. Married Cevalla Wright, 12\/24\/1866. She died 9\/29\/1915.\u00a0 He was a veteran of the Civil War. Left 5 sons and one daughter. Burial in Mt. Vernon Cemetery.<\/p>\n<p><i>STELLA HAYWORTH<\/i>, age 29 years, 8 months, died the week of March 20, 1922.\u00a0 She was the wife of Thomas Hayworth of Deer Lodge and the adopted daughter of Mr. &amp; Mrs. T.B. Ryon.<br \/>\nSons, Ewell and daughters Marie and June.<\/p>\n<p><i>LEE H. SHANNON,<\/i>\u00a0age 24 died in Stearns, KY.\u00a0 He was born 7\/25\/1898 in Morgan County.\u00a0 He leaves a wife and infant son, parents, brother and a sister.<\/p>\n<p><i>FRANKLIN KENNETH GALLOWAY,<\/i>died 4\/3\/1922. He was the son of Ralph &amp; Ollie Galloway.<br \/>\nBurial in Byrd Cemetery.<\/p>\n<p><i>HORICE HOWARD<\/i>, of Lancing, died week of 4\/28\/1922. Burial in Clear Creek.<\/p>\n<p><i>HENRY W. RUPPE<\/i>, Deermont, age 67 years ll months and 17 days died May 28, 1922.\u00a0 Survivors, widow and six children:\u00a0 John, Benjamin, Rudolph, Charley and Mrs. Mary Bingham; two sons preceded, Fred and Gus. First wife, Eunice Melhorn, the mother of all the children, except Rudolph. After Eunice died he married Lodisia Allison Reynolds Funerl and burial near Deermont.<\/p>\n<p><i>MR. EUTEMEIR<\/i>, of Oakdale died week of 5\/5\/1922<\/p>\n<p><i>\u00a0JUDGE CHARLES WILLARD TURNER<\/i>, 78, died in Knoxville, Tn.,\u00a0 5\/10\/1922. He was a sumemr resident of Rugby.<\/p>\n<p><i>MORLEY SOMERS<\/i>, a summer resident of Rugby, died in San Francisco May 11., 1922 at age 48. He was a native of Philadelphia, PA.\u00a0 Leaves a wife, Leslie Somers and 7 years old son, Dunning Somers.<\/p>\n<p><i>ADALINE McKEETHAN<\/i>, born, 9\/18\/1835, died in Huchins TX.\u00a0 May 2, 1922.\u00a0 She was the widow of Samuel James McKeethan formerly of Morgan Couynty, TN.\u00a0 She was the mother of six boys and five girls.\u00a0 She, her husband and Elda H. McKeethan moved from North Carolina in a covered wagon before the Civil War.\u00a0 Children still living:\u00a0 Mary Davis, Maggie Brightwell, Bertha McCartt, T.B. McKeethan, Samuel m.., James Elda,; A son, Gilbert, disappeared in 1919.<\/p>\n<p><i>MANIFEE HAWN<\/i>, died, 5\/31\/1922.\u00a0 He was born 9\/3\/196-. He had moved to Maryville about 1901 and then back to Lancing.<\/p>\n<p><i>MRS. A. D.\u00a0 WILLIAMS<\/i>, wife of Ross H. Williams, died 6\/6\/1922 at Island Ford. She leaves a husband<br \/>\nand several children.<\/p>\n<p><i>MR. A. D. WILLIAMS<\/i>, born 1, 1855 died at Clear Creek<br \/>\nHis wife had died 6 months previous.\u00a0 8\/1922<\/p>\n<p><i>ARIZONA WAITS<\/i>, died 6\/4\/1922. Leaves a father, mother and one brother.\u00a0 Cuble Cemetery.<\/p>\n<p><i>SAM KELLY<\/i>, &#8211; Wartburg, died,\u00a0 June 16, 1922.\u00a0 He leaves a wife and several children. 1922.<\/p>\n<p><i>CHARLES W. SUMMER<\/i>, age 52, died the week of July 28, 1922.\u00a0 He left a wife and several children.<\/p>\n<p><i>FRED W. GERDING,<\/i>\u00a0age 92, died August 7, 1922 at Oliver Springs, TN.\u00a0 He came from New York about 1847.\u00a0 His father was George F. Gerding, an early settler of Wartburg. GALLOWAY<\/i>, age 48, formerly of Morgan Co died week of 12\/8\/1922 in New Orleans.\u00a0 His wife Ella Stonecipher Galloway died 24 years previous.\u00a0 Leaves a son Dolph; daughters, Goldie, Sylva, Fawn,&amp; Dixie Marie.<br \/>\nHe was born in Poplarville, Miss.<\/p>\n<p><i>ANNA BASLER<\/i>, age 20, died 11\/23\/1922 .\u00a0She was the wife of Jake Basler.\u00a0 Her father was Worth Wilson.<\/p>\n<p><i>THOMAS V. GRANT<\/i>, formerly of Morgan Co and Rockwood, died 11\/12\/1922.\u00a0He was born ll\/3\/1842 in Asheville, N.C. and was a Civil War Veteran.\u00a0 He married\u00a0Mrs. Susannah Swagerty on 9\/1\/1889.\u00a0 Children; Thomas F. &amp; William J., Mrs. Pollie M.
