In 1893 he married Sarah Elizabeth Cline, they had eleven children. They lived many years in Burrville, Morgan County directly across the road from the Mount Vernon Methodist Church and Cemetery. Sarah died in 1939, in 1940 Dock 75 married Catherine Cadle 47, they lived together until his death in 1966. Dock Blakley is buried in the Mount Vernon Cemetery, Burrville next to his first wife Sarah.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>BLAKLEY, Sarah Elizabeth<\/strong> \u2013was born September 24, 1874 and died July 19, 1939; aged 64 years, 9 months and 25 days.\u00a0 In 1893 she was united in marriage to D. R. BLAKLEY.\u00a0 To this union, 11 children were born, two of who preceded her in death.\u00a0 Forty-five years ago Mrs. BLAKLEY became a Christian and to her convictions she remained faithful to her death.\u00a0 She met the trials of life squarely, never shirking anything because it was unpleasant to her.\u00a0 She was ever loving and loyal to her family and friends and was a most devoted wife and mother.\u00a0 She leaves to mourn her passing, a husband, a mother, nine children, four sisters and two brothers, twenty-two grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.\u00a0 Her children are:\u00a0 Enoch, Omar and John of Detroit, Michigan; Ruble of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; Zelma of Cincinnati, Ohio; Mrs. Etta VARNER of Lenoir City, Tenn., Mrs. Boyd DAVIDSON of Hammond, Indiana and Jesse and Iva Joe of Burrville.\u00a0 Funeral services were held Friday at 2 p. m. from the Church, Rev. J. B.
