He lived in Burrville from\u00a0<\/span>abt. 1882 until abt. 1905 when part of this family moved west to Oklahoma,\u00a0<\/span>then Texas.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n


He and his wife Mary, have a son,\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>
Madison L. Jones, buried in\u00a0<\/span>
Lavender – Osage Cemetery, Deer Lodge.<\/span><\/h4>\n

GEORGE C. JONES\u00a0\u00a0and his wife\u00a0\u00a0SALLY\u00a0taken in\u00a0McAlester, Oklahoma.\u00a0 She is believed to be related to former TN Governor Ben W. Hooper (1911-15).<\/p>\n

George was born April 03, 1884, in Burrville, TN, and died March 02, 1959, in Weslaco, TX.<\/p>\n

This photo was
\nprobably taken sometime around 1910.<\/p>\n

These previously unidentified orphan photos were in DORIS PHILLIP’S OOTEN’S
\ncollection of photos It’s very possible that these photos are some of our Jones relatives that were living in Burrville in the late 1800’s. My relation to both men: They are my grandma’s, (Doris Phillips Ooten), uncles.<\/p>\n
