MORE NOTES:\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/i><\/b>\u00a0Courtesy of\u00a0Georgeanne McPeters: – I believe it was taken about 1919.\u00a0 There must have been an itinerate photographer in the area, as I have seen several photos from the same period including one of the L.C.H. GREENE family, which I can nearly date just by the children present and knowing their dob’s.\u00a0 Also, based on family records and the headstone at Flat Fork Cemetery, Jim McPETERS, father of Maude McPeters BASLER, died on 10 March 1919. I would love to know if you have the information on “Grandma Holder” with the ” * See Back” written beside her name.\u00a0 I am very interested in finding out what I can on her as this is most likely Susan BYRD, who married 1) James Patterson WALKER, 2) Garrett HALL, and 3) James Martin HOLDER.\u00a0 She is the mother of Sampson HOLDER also in the photo.\u00a0 From family and census records I have Susan’s birth as June 1841 and her year of death as 1928 – but have not located her gravesite to date.\u00a0 Knowing that Susan died in 1928 also helps with dating this photo.\u00a0 My husband is her descendent through daughter Margarett nee WALKER\u00a0 and James Monroe McPETERS. I just checked my FTM program – the first two HOLDER children in the photo look a bit young to be Carl and Bertha. #1\u00a0 Carl HOLDER – born 10 July 1905 #2\u00a0 Bertha HOLDER – born 17 August 1903 #5\u00a0 Archie SUMMERS – born 24 February 1908 #11\u00a0 Mary SCHUBERT GREENE – born 20 May 1910<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
