Neil, 78-year-old widower and great-grandfather.<\/p>\n<p>The marriage was performed &#8211; with the consent of the bride&#8217;s father, Charlie Vespie, and upon written recommendation by County Judge George W. Dagley &#8211; by Squire J.L. Kaufman at his home.<\/p>\n<p>County Court Clerk, Glena K. Ott said she issued the marriage license after the girl&#8217;s father appeared with the recommendation. State law requires a parent&#8217;s permission and the county judge&#8217;s recommendation in such cases.<\/p>\n<p>It is reported the bridegroom has been married several times.
