there are 3 brothers captured at Rogersville from Morgab County TN as they were my great grandmother’s uncles – William, Robert, and Jesse McCart. My family was one of the 1st set of settlers into TN and settled Scott County via AR land Grants and helped settled Morgan County under Gen. Morgan.
I have seen so many mis state the facts on my family that it has created nothing but issues for everyone as folks never ask actual direct descendants who have documents, whose own great grandmother has 1st hand accounts as she knew her uncles via her father, etc.
