Patience (Irons) Davidson was Menan’s 2nd wife with whom they had five children all born in Morgan County. Menan’s first wife was Rebecca Peters with whom they had seven children all born in Morgan County. Rebecca died in 1869 and the age of 44, in 1870 Menan married Patience who was 33 and he 50.
