QUALLS, MR. GEORGE W., age 81, of Harriman passed away Monday November 23, 2009 at Baptist Hospital West in Knoxville. He is preceded in death by his son: J.W. Qualls. Five brothers and six sisters. He is survived by his wife of 47 years: Virginia Garner Qualls. Five sons: George Alan Qualls, Ricky Qualls, Frank Qualls, Michael Garner and Jacky Garner. Two daughters: Debra Qualls and Betty Ann McClain. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other family, friends and loved ones. QUEEN, ARTIE SPURLING, 75, Leesburg, Fla, passed away Tue. Feb. 11, 2003. Raised in Morgan County, she moved to Leesburg in 1946 where she was a home maker. She is survived by son James Queen of Leesburg; daughter Sallie L. Gooch of Lancing; sister Maggie Mullins of Leesburg; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. QUEENING, LEE H., age 64, a resident of Coalfield, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2006, at her home. She was born Jan. 15, 1942, in Coalfield and lived most of her life in Morgan County. Mrs. Queeney was a faithful Christian. She had been employed by Wal-Mart in Oak Ridge. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Snowdeer Queening; parents, Lester and Jewel Carter Hill; and brother, Vancil Fred Hill. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Humphrey of Coalfield; children, Debra Ferguson of Oliver Springs, Danny Queening and wife, Danielle of Orlando, Fla., and David Queening and wife, Linda of Dalton, Ga.; stepdaughter, Paula Hobbs of Conyers, Ga.; grandchildren, Robert Hawk Ferguson, Adrian Storm Ferguson, Dillon Jacob Queening, Dawson Colby Queening, and Kenneth Lee Queening; great-grandson, Victor Hawk Ferguson; step-grandchildren, Michael Hobbs and James Hobbs; brother, Daniel Hill and wife, Sandra of Chattsworth, Ga.; sister, Etta Littleton and husband, Doug of Kingston; nephew, Anthony Fred Hill of Chattsworth, Ga. She is also survived by several extended family members and special friends. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 28, 2006, at Sharp Funeral Home with funeral service following at 8 p.m. in the chapel with the Rev. Roger Webb officiating.
