LAST DAY AS RAILWAY PASSENGER STATION
“Friday, December 30, 1961 was the last day for the Railway Agency at Oakdale. Passengers may still board trains at Oakdale paying their fare to the conductors. The Station at Emory Gap will handle all freight for Oakdale and also sell tickets.
