Services Held for Firts Morgan County Korean Veteran Killed In Action
Funeral services for Pfc. Walter C. Haag, who was killed ina ction February 23, 1951 inKorea, were held at the Liberty Church near Wartburg Sunday Afternoon, Oct. 21. Rev. S. K. Knisley officiating. Burial in the Church Cemetery with Military Honors by Brannon Kreis Post 149 American legion. Surviving are his parents; two sisters, Anna Marie and Wanda Fay; two brothers, Albert, Jr., and Donald; two half brothers, Grady with the Arm Forces in Germany and Raymond of Wartburg.
