FAMILY HISTORIES OF
PERSONS BURIED AT
GREENWOOD CEMETERY
CLARKSVILLE, TENNESSEE
WILLEM LAMP
1. Willem Lamp emigrated to America from Holland with his Dutch wife early in the 1900’s as a tobacco buyer for the European market.
2. A proper man who loved music, he was in the habit of giving away old 78 records of classical music to all his friends’ children, trying to instill a love for such.
3. After the early demise of his first wife, he married a C’ville socialite
who soon left him afterwhich he became very ill. The lady who nursed him
back to health became his third wife. He lies here between his first and
third loves.
