This cemetery is located behind the Tabernacle Church in New Providence. I am not sure if the church had ever been affiliated with the cemetery. It has been long abandoned and in very poor condition. There are maybe 200 more unmarked graves here and was in use until 1960.

The various names of the cemetery come from the death certificates of those whose markers are shown below.  The most common name on those certificates was New Providence Cemetery.
