Location:  From Gary Matthews take Highway 48/13 2.2 miles to Salem Road. Turn left, go to the end of Salem Road and turn left on Bend Rd. Cemetery is located in a field on the corner of Mellon and Bend Rd.





There are supposed to be several graves on this place. Only one stone is left and it is broken.

Edward W. Neblett, Sr - Born  Aug.  9, 1779    died  Oct. 14, 1845

[Married Nancy Anna Roberts  Dec. 5, 1805 in Brunswick Co, VA]

[Cpt. Edward Neblett served under Co. RC Napier, 1st RE, TN Mil. Inf in the War of 1812. He enlisted Jan 28, 1814 and served to May 10, 1814.  He stated in his affidavit that he marched with his men 200 miles to Fayetteville, TN, where they were mustered into service.  They returned to Montgomery Court House in Montgomery County, their place of residence after being discharged.]
