The Weakley-Elliott Cemetery is located
on Iron Workers Road in Eastern Montgomery County. It is in the back
yard of a newer home and is protected and taken care of.
Thomas Weakley came to Montgomery
County about 1800. He had been a Private in Col. Daniel
Morgan’s Regiment of the 7th Virginia Continental Line, in the Revolutionary War.
Born about 1755 in VA, he died at his plantation on Ironworker's
Road, Montgomery County in 1830.
