In the name of God Amen, I Rowland Vick, weak in body but perfectly in my mind, knowing that life is uncertain, I now recommend my soul to Almighty God, after this solumn reflection I wish my property, after disceese {sic} to be disposed of in the following manner.
Item the 1st: that all my personal property be sold on credit under the directions of the courts and the amount be applied towards paying all my just debts.

Item 2nd: all my land whereon I now---, together with ferry, to be rented for the ensueing {sic} years. After that expiration, if there is not enough to pay all my just debts, it is my wish, that my executors sell all my lands, together with the ferry whereon I now live, and after such sale or disposal, the balance if any to equally be divided among the following person, to wit, my beloved wife Elizabeth Vick, my son John Vick, Drucilla Vick, and my daughter Susan Lyons Vick.

Item 3rd: I appoint my worth friends, Daniel Rook & John Rook my executors---this my last Will and Testament, given under my hand and seal in the year of our Lord one thousand 1822, and fourth day of December.
