W. C. Bumpus was born 12-15-1929 in Montgomery Co. TN. and died 11-23-2001 (Yarbrough Cemetery). He was the son of Bailey and Ora Davis Bumpus. He was married to Dorothy Heflin Bumpus. He  was a SP3 in the US Army in the Korean War.
