WORLD WAR I SOLDIER
Gilbert Dean Freeman, was born 12 Dec 1895 in Dickson County, TN
the son of George Thrower Freeman and Sallie Bradley Harvey. He moved
to Southside, TN with his family and was a farmer. In 1917 he enlisted
in the US Army in WWI. He was married to Nellie Drake in Mt.Co., TN 17
Jan 1922. He died 5 Dec 1984.
