Oliver Davis Sr. of the Montgomery County area had 3 sons that were in the Civil War.
Their names being: Thomas, Oliver Jr. and Hezekiah.  The youngest, Hezekiah slipped away at the age of 18 to join the Army.
Thomas and Hezekiah returned at the close of the war, but Oliver Jr. died in prison.  He was wounded in action, and is buried in the National Cemetery at Marietta, GA.
