A wedding marked by its beauty of simplicity was that of Miss Cornelia Rebecca Peacher and Mr. Guy C. Stephens, which took place at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Anna Peacher, Wednesday afternoon at 5 o'clock.
    The hall and parlor were beautifully decorated with ferns, smilax and narcissii and lighted by white waxen tapers in crystal candlesticks.  Tall brackets covered with vines and ferns holding white tapers set in pyramid fashion, hung from the walls.  The mantle was banked in greenery from which may graduating tapers were set, forming an arch and reflected in the tall mirrors shed a soft glow over the scene.  Lovely ferns on pedestals were arranged in the bay window where the impressive ring ceremony was said by the Rev. E. J. Barnet.
    Preceding the ceremony Mrs. Frank Cunningham rendered several choice selections.
    The little ribbon-bearers, Anna Lee McGregor and Virginia Peacher, a niece of the bride, wearing dainty frockes of georgette crepe make a lovely picture, forming an aisle from the stairway to the parlor through which the couple entered to the strains of Mendelssohn's Wedding March.
    The bride, a dainty blonde, who never looked sweeter than on this occasion, wore a handsome tailored suit of blue dev et dulaine embroidered in self-tone with beaver trimmings and carried an arm bouquet of Russell roses.
    Mr. Stephens holds a responsible position with the L & N Railroad and is recognized as a young man of sterling worth.
    Immediately after the ceremony the happy couple left for an extended trip through Southern Florida.
    After January 15, they will be at home in Nashville.
