On a fire engine of the Clarksville Fire Dept. in 1912, left to right: Joe Manning, Joseph Manton Jarrell, son Charles Shelby Jarrell, and Joe Suter in the drivers' seat. That is probably "Suiter," but he didn't know how to spell it.

Joseph Manton Jarrell worked as the State engineer for years, and died in 1932, at the age of 80. He worked for the State until his death.

The handwriting on both these pictures is that of Frank Gracey Jarrell, who is my great-grandfather.
