James Donald Threatt, 46, Big Rock, died
Sunday, June 8,
1986, at his home after a brief illness.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at Anglin Memorial Chapel,
Dover,
with the Rev. Morris Lee officiating.
Burial will be in the Wyatt Chapel Cemetery.
Threatt was born in Stewart County on June 6, 1940, son of
Lester
and Ida Lee Shelby Threatt, Big Rock.
He was employed at Acme Boot Co., Inc., Clarksville. Survivors, in addition to his parents,
include a son, James L. Threatt, Dover; two brothers, Stanley and Dale
Threatt,
both of Big Rock; and a sister, Carolyn Blosmore, Big Rock. Pallbearers will be Jackie Threatt, Randolph
Rittenberry, Paul Shelby, William Shelby, Russell Carte and Randy Carte.

Threatt was a gr gr grandson of Martha L. Roper and Edward Matthew
Threatt. He was a 3rd great
grandson of Rachel Atkins and Charles Roper and a 4th great
grandson
of Rev. War soldier Lewis Atkins.)
