Dover –Acree Wayne Threatt, 55, farmer of Route 3, Dover, died Thursday morning in Clarksville Memorial Hospital after a four-day illness.  Services will be conducted Saturday at 10 a.m. at Anglin Memorial Chapel by the Rev. S. P. Decker.  Burial will be in Wyatt’s Cemetery.  Mr. Threatt was born in Stewart County Aug. 17, 1920, son of the late Ermon and Gertie Butts Threatt.  He was a member of the United Methodist Church.  Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Maggie Wyatt Threatt; a son, Russell Threatt, Dover; a daughter, Mrs. Marcelene Mayo, Dover; two brothers, Lester and Roman Threatt, Big Rock; four grandchildren.
