Mrs. Ida Ethel Shepherd, 70, Indian Mound, died this morning in Clarksville Memorial Hospital after a three weeks illness.  Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at Milligan Funeral Home by the Rev. Nobel Peavyhouse.  Burial will be in Hall's Cemetery.  Mrs. Shepherd was born in Stewart Co., April 9, 1903, daughter of the late Milton and Eula Lee Norfleet Atkins.  She was a member of Rose Valley United Methodist Church.  Survivors are her husband, Reams Shepherd, whom she married Oct 31, 1920; six sons, James and Hulin, Indian Mound; Jerry and Jesse, Clarksville; Reed, Paris, TN; and Horace Shepherd, Louisville, KY; three daughters, Mrs. Nannie Lewis, Indian Mound; Mrs. Marie Rougemont, Dover; Mrs. Tina Carney, Clarksville; two brothers, Kent Atkins, Woodlawn; Leonard Atkins, Granite City, IL; 27 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.  Pallbearers will be Maxwell, Lewis, and Danny Shepherd, Kenneth Austin, Everett Johnson, Johnny Earhart.
