William Gus Wyatt, 71, Route 3, Dover, died at 2
a.m.
Saturday in Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.
He was a retired civilian employee at Ft.
Campbell, KY.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday
at Wyatt Chapel
United Methodist Church by the Rev. Arnold
Nelson. Burial will be in Wyatt
Cemetery. The body will be in Dover
until time of services.
Mr. Wyatt was born in Stewart
County Dec 20, 1898, a son of
the late James D. and Daisy Joiner Wyatt.
Survivors include his widow Mrs.
Sarah Atkins Wyatt whom he
married July 10, 1920; five sons, James and Wilton both of Clarksville;
Dean
and O'Neal of Dover and Thomas of Nashville; four daughters, Mrs.
Dennison
Smith, Clarksville, Mrs. Ray Crain, Dover; Mrs. John Waldrop, Pembroke,
KY, and
Mrs. Judy Duryear, Ethel, WA; two brothers, Reams Wyatt, Clarksville,
and
Landon Wyatt, Indian Mound; a sister, Mrs. Hershell Dunn, Detroit, MI;

grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Carl Wallace, Steve
Knickerbocker, Owen
Wyatt, Don Brigham, Roger Crain and David Wyatt.
