Mrs. Tennie B. Edwards, 90, died this morning at 1 o’clock in Clarksville Memorial Hospital after a four-day illness.  She was a resident of Indian Mound, TN.  Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. at Rose Valley United Methodist Church by Rev. Nobel Peavyhouse.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  The body is at Milligan Funeral Home, Dover.  Mrs. Edwards was born in Stewart Co., Jan 24, 1881, daughter of the late Gus and Sarah Wyatt Byrd.  She was a member of Rose Valley United Methodist Church.  Survivors are five sons, Orman Edwards, Adams, TN; Fulton Edwards, Indian Mound; Lory Edwards, Guthrie, KY; Preston Edwards, Murfreesboro, TN; and Weston Edwards, Trenton, KY; three daughters, Mrs. Neva Wyatt, Nashville; Mrs. Grace Smith and Miss Jessie Edwards, both of Indian Mound; two brothers, Tom Byrd, Indian Mound; and Maurice Byrd, Nashville; two sisters, Mrs. Lena Atkins, Indian Mound; and Mrs. Alice Grizzard, Clarksville; 24 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.  Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
