Ewing F. Wall's Funeral Held This Afternoon

Funeral services for Ewing F. Wall, 48, truck driver, 744 Franklin Street, who died at his home Tuesday afternoon at 2:25 o'clock after a two-day illness, were to be held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the grave in Big Rock Cemetery.  Pallbearers are Tom Smith, J. B. Gossett, Lilton Bryant, Ernest Brown, W. A. Wall, F. W. Cushman.  Tarpley's will have charge.  Born in Big Rock on March 3, 1899, Mr. Wall was the son of the late Norvill A. and Rachel Thweatt Wall.  He was thrice married, his last wife being Mrs. Frances Sensing, who survives.  Also surviving are three sons and a daughter by his first marriage, Delmer and Dotson Wall, Hopkinsville; and Elliott Wall of the U.S. Army in Japan, and Mrs. Pete Morgan, Hopkinsville; three grandchildren; three brothers, William of Bumpus Mills, Clayton of this city; and W. A. Wall of St. Bethlehem; and two sisters, Mrs. John Cherry, New Providence; and Mrs. E. P. Hall, Indian Mound.

(Note:  Ewing F. Wall was a great great grandson of Rev. War soldier Lewis Atkins.)
