Friday, May 13, 1983 at Parkview Hospital, survived by wife Mrs. Jessie M. Atkins; daughter Kristie Lynn Atkins, Atlanta, GA; son Terry Wayne Atkins; mother, Mrs. Elva Atkins; sister, Mrs. Estelle Horn, Memphis; brother, Ted M. Atkins.  His remains are at the Chapel of Martin’s Brace-Welsh, 209 Louise Avenue, where funeral services will be conducted this Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock with Rev. O.D. (Buddy) Lynch officiating.  Interment in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.  Pallbearers:  Honorary:  Security Staff of Ford Motor Company; Active Pallbearers:  Frank Kellow, Louie Phillips, Charlie Dickson, Mike Atkins, Bob Coombs, Dr. Roy Money.

(Note:  William Bruce Atkins was a ggg grandson of Rev. War soldier Lewis Atkins.)
