Archie Ray Smith

Dover - Archie Ray Smith, 64, Indian Mound, died Monday at Memorial Hospital.  Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Anglin Funeral Home in Dover.  Burial will follow in Seay Cemetery, Indian Mound.  Born Nov 3, 1917 in Stewart County, he was the son of the late Elliott and Allie Vaughn Smith.  He was a retired mechanic at Acme Boot Company and a member of Indian Mound Methodist Church.  Survivors include his widow, Virgie Cherry Smith; and one brother, Bobby Smith, Gallatin, TN.  Pallbearers will be Michael Summers, Bailey Crockarell, Sydney Crockarell, Phillip Smith, David Smith and Ronnie Smith.

(Note:  Archie Ray Smith was a great grandson of Bazel and Martha Hood Smith.)
