Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 3:00 at the Smith Cemetery in Dover, Tennessee, for Venner Newton Lee, 68, who died yesterday at 10:00 a.m. at his home in Big Rock.  The Rev. Delmin Fryer will officiate.  Mr. Lee was a lifelong resident of Stewart County and the son of the late J. M. Lee and Alice Wall Lee.  He is survived by his widow; sons Delmer E. Lee of Detroit, Michigan; and Atlas Lee of Clarksville; two brothers, Irby Lee of Dover; and Jim Lee of Clarksville.

(Note:  Venner Newton Lee’s wife was Minnie Ida Smith Lee who died Sep 24, 1976.)
