Isaac Acree Norfleet,
76, Route 2, Indian Mound,
died Sunday at his home. The funeral
will be at 10 a.m. today at Anglin Memorial Chapel, Dover, with the
Revs. Maxie
Milliken, Carl Wilson and H. C. Beasley officiating.
Burial will be in Fort Donelson National Cemetery, Dover. Norfleet was born in Stewart County on July
3, 1909, son of James R. and Emma A. Atkins Norfleet.
He was a member of Rose Valley United Methodist Church, an Army
veteran and a member of Indian Mound Masonic Lodge No. 303 and Indian
Mound Eastern Star. He served as Stewart
County commissioner for
26 years. Survivors include his wife,
Margaret Dunaway Norfleet; a brother, Angers Norfleet, Dover; and two
sisters,
Jewell Bryant and Frances Elliott, both of Dover. Pallbearers
will be Gary Elliott, Barry Elliott, Billy Norfleet,
Tommy Norfleet, Ricky Norfleet, and James Rorie.
