James Wesley Wyatt, 77, Route 2, Indian Mound, died Monday, June 8, 1987, at Memorial Hospital.  The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Anglin Funeral Home, Dover, with the Rev. Carl Wilson officiating.  Burial will be in Wyatt’s Cemetery, Dover.
Visitation will begin at 3:30 p.m. today.  He was born May 16, 1910, in Stewart County, a son of John W. and Madie Elliott Wyatt.  He was the widower of Bertha Milliken Wyatt.  A retired farmer, he was a member of Wyatt’s Chapel Methodist Church and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.  Survivors include a son, Bobby Dean Wyatt, Dover; a daughter, Patsy Underwood, Cedar Hill; a sister, Katharen England, Clarksville; three grandchildren and a great grandchild.  Pallbearers will be Marshell Wyatt, Dillard Wyatt, David Hawbecker, Owen Wyatt, Terry Austin and David Wyatt. 

(Note:  James was a grandson of Mitchell James Wyatt, one of the Wyatt twin boys raised by Charles and Rachel Atkins Roper in Stewart Co., TN.)
