Horace E. Shepherd, 50, of Louisville, KY, died Friday in an automobile accident in Louisville.
        The funeral was at 1 p.m. Monday at W. G. Hardy Funeral Home, Louisville, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
        He was born in Indian Mound, Oct 23, 1933, a son of Reams and Ida Atkins Shepherd.  He lived in Louisville where he was a self-employed roofer.  He was a veteran of the Korean War.
        Survivors include his wife Judy Elkins Shepherd; a son Shawn Shepherd, Louisville; four daughters, Jennifer L., Tammy L. Shepherd, both of Louisville, and Debra L. Kenton and  Theresa D. Shepherd, both of Paris; five brothers, Hulin, James and Jerry Shepherd of Indian Mound; Reed Shepherd, Paris; and Jesse Shepherd of Clarksville; three sisters, Nanlee Lewis, Indian Mound; Marie Rougemont, Paris; and Tina Carney, Clarksville; and two grandchildren.
