Hubert Miles Threatt

Aug 12, 1916 – Aug 4, 1968

Services for Hubert Miles Threatt, 51, will be today at 2 p.m. at Milligan Funeral Home in Dover.  Rev. Ottis Donegan will officiate.  Burial will be in the Wyatt Chapel Cemetery, Indian Mound, Tennessee.  Mr. Threatt died at his home on 505 Auraorleia St., Clarksville, after an illness of one year.  He was born in Stewart County, Aug. 12, 1916, a son of Ermon and Gertie Butts Threatt.  Both of his parents survive him.  Mr. Threatt is survived by his widow, Mrs. Katherine Wyatt Threatt.  They were married Jan. 30, 1938.  He was a member of the Wyatts Chapel Methodist Church.  Other survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Franklin Reed, Mrs. James Christy, and Mrs. David Morgan, all of Clarksville; three brothers, Lester Threatt, Wayne Threatt, and Roman Threatt, all of Big Rock; and three grandchildren.  Pallbearers will be Dillard Wyatt, Marshall Wyatt, Gene Threatt, Ned Threatt, Morris Butts and Nathan Butts.

(Note:  Hubert was a great grandson of Matthew James and Martha L. Roper Threatt.  He was a gg grandson of Charles and Rachel Atkins Roper.  He was a ggg grandson of Rev. War soldier Lewis Atkins.)
