Springfield – Mrs. Bessie Mae Threatt, 74, Route 2, Adams, TN, died Monday night in General Care Nursing Home in Springfield.  She was a retired production line worker for the B. F. Goodrich Co.  Funeral services will be conducted at the Adams United Methodist Church, Wednesday, at 3 p.m.  Burial will be in Red River Cemetery in Adams.  The body is at Associated Funeral Home.  Mrs. Threatt was born in Stewart Co. Jan 4, 1900, daughter of the late Earl and Sarah Myers.  Her husband Mannie F.Threatt died in 1966.  She was a member of the Adams United Methodist Church.  Survivors are three sons, Gene Threatt, Adams, TN; Paul Threatt, Ashland City, TN; and Russell Threatt, Petersburg, VA; four daughters, Mrs. Wava Hayes, Palmyra, TN; Mrs. Dovie Beam, Adams, TN; Mrs. Christine Steward, Jeffersonville, IN; Mrs. Virgilene Dempsey, Springfield, TN; two brothers, Jimmy Myers, Dover, TN; and Cleveland Myers, Big Rock, TN; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
