Mrs. Eula Gladys Lewis, 68, died at her home here Wednesday after a three-month illness. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1 p.m. at Indian Mound United Methodist Church by the Rev. W. I. Holder. Burial will be in Roper Cemetery, Route 3, Dover; Milligan Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Lewis was born in Stewart Co., Jan 23, 1903, daughter of the late E. J. and Alma Cherry Wyatt. She was a member of Big Rock United Methodist Church. Survivors are her husband, Charlie C. Lewis, whom she married Dec. 25, 1921; four sons, Luton and Charles, both of Dover; Rannie, Big Rock; and Carlos Lewis, Indian Mound; four daughters, Mrs. Alice Donnelly, and Mrs. Charlene Thoni, both of Nashville; Mrs. Louis Cury, Augusta, Ga.; and Mrs. Corrine Peacher, Huntsville, Ala.; a sister, Mrs. Hallie Bumpus, Dover; 20 grandchildren; one great grandchild. The body is at the residence until the hour of service.

in
Stewart County by Charles and Rachel Atkins Roper.
Eli’s wife was Rachel Miranda Roper Wyatt, daughter of Charles
and Rachel Atkins Roper, making Eula Gladys Wyatt Lewis a gg
granddaughter of
