LONG FAMILY BIBLE RECORD

The Longs first arrived in Montgomery County shortly before 1820.  Our family farm was on Fletcher's Fork Creek, where the dam at Lake Taal on post stands today.  The old family burial ground still exists today on a hill above the creek.  The family was uprooted by Camp Campbell in 1942, and has lived in St. Bethlehem since then.  This Bible is now in possession of Jane (Long) Wilkerson of Murfreesboro.

This Certifies that the rite of Holy Matrimony was celebrated between Henry Clay Long of Montgomery Co. Tn and Willie Mallory Of Christian Co., Ky on Nov. 30 1876 6 AM at Hopkinsville, Ky. by Rev. T. J. Duncan
