Thomas Joseph McCabe Jr. was born June 9,1853 and died in 1889. Mary Ahearn was born August 17,1856 in Bowling Green ,Ky. and died Dec 22,1935 in Birmingham, Alabama. Mary Ahearn's parents were also born in Ireland. They had 5 girls and 1 boy. My maternal grandmother was one of these 5 girls.(Mary Ann-Mamie- McCabe). (1883-1953) .She married my grandfather Charles Kearney Hall Sr.(1874-1949) in 1905 in Alabama. They in turn had my father-Charles Kearney Hall Jr.(1921-1973).

In addition, Thomas Joseph McCabe Sr,(Born July3,1819 in Ireland/died March 11,1904 in Clarksville ,Tenn.) who is the father of the above mentioned was born in Ireland and came to America prior to the Civil war. He served in the 10th Tenn.Co.A Infantry Regiment during the Civil war. He was severely wounded during the war .Both Thomas Joseph McCabe Sr. and his wife,Margaret Connelly McCabe (also born in  Galway, Ireland -- they were married in County Kildare, Ireland) , lived the rest of their life on a farm near Clarksville. He died in 1904 and she in 1910---They are buried in Greeenwood cemetery in Clarksville.
After the Civil war he saved his money and brought the rest of his family to Clarksville from Ireland
