James Mathews   } I James Mathews considering the uncertainty of life and

  Will                    } being of sound Mind and Memory do make and publish

                             } this my last will and testament in manner and form

following. (viz) I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Caroline Mathews

all of my Estate both personnel and real that I may die seized and

possesed of during her Natural life, at whoes death it is my will

that the same be equally divided between my three youngest children

(viz) M. Jennie Mathews, Laura Mathews and Samuel Mathews.

          I hereby appoint my                                        sole executor

of this my last will and a testament. In testimony whereof I

hereunto set my hand this the 30^th day of March 1885.

The above instrument was duly                                   James Mathews

acknowledged by James Mathews in

our presance and declared by him

to be his last will and Testament and

at his request we signed our names as

witnesses to the same.                                            Probated June 15^th 1885
